MiDi BiTCH – UNSTERN
„Unstern is an eerie, cosmic descent into the subconscious — like Berlin School filtered through a dystopian telescope. MiDi BITCH continues to push electronic music into deeper philosophical territory, where emotion and abstraction collide.“
„A beautifully unsettling album. Every track on Unstern feels like a signal from a forgotten satellite — dark ambient with a soul, industrial without cliché. It’s not just heard; it’s experienced.“
„MiDi BITCH proves that modular synthesis can be deeply human. Unstern doesn’t explain itself — it invites you in, makes you question time, space, and self.“

Unstern is not just a collection of tracks — it’s a journey inward and outward, a sonic voyage through emotion, introspection, and the hidden corners of the subconscious. I wanted each sound, each texture, each visual moment to ask questions rather than give answers.
This album is shaped by decades of influences: the sequenced dreamscapes of the Berlin School, the raw pulse of Krautrock, the haunting beauty of Dark Ambient, and the dystopian textures of industrial sound. From the elegance of Plato’s philosophy to the grit of Throbbing Gristle, these threads all tie into what you hear and see.
The video that accompanies this work is an extension of the music. Abstract forms, cosmic landscapes, and symbolic imagery — all attempting to mirror the mind’s endless terrain. It’s meant to feel like drifting through thought, floating between memory and imagination, weightless and strange.
I’ve been on this path since 1995, and with each album — from Hyperborea to Sonic Fiction, Transkosmos, Natal, and Anamnesis — I’ve tried to push boundaries, both sonic and conceptual. Machina (2023) brought me into darker, more dystopian territory, and Unstern continues that exploration but with a more cosmic and introspective tilt.
„Collaboration has been, and always will be, part of this evolution. I believe the most unexpected and inspiring moments happen when different minds collide. It keeps the process alive, uncertain, and full of possibility.„
This album is for anyone who has ever stopped to question reality, felt the weight of their own thoughts, or found themselves staring into the night sky wondering what’s out there — and in here.
Thank you for listening, watching, and exploring with me.
